To complete our 'Cycle to School Week' events, we were delighted to welcome Donna and Beth from the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust (formerly Sustrans) to St. Eugene's today for a very special assembly!
They came to present us with the Gold Active Travel Award. We are only the 34th school in NI to achieve this award! It's thanks to the commitment of our pupils, families and staff over the last three years, that we have had such great success with our active travel programme.
Many thanks to Donna, Beth and the staff at the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust for their support in making active travel a key part of life at St. Eugene's PS.
Our thanks also to Mayor Ruairí McHugh for visiting today to celebrate this achievement with our pupils. It made the day all the more special!
