Numeracy Achievements- Term 2b
Term 2B has been a fantastic for Numeracy across our school, with pupils showing incredible enthusiasm, focus and determination in every activity they tackled. We are so proud of the hard work and positive attitudes displayed by all our learners as they continued to grow and strengthen their Numeracy skills.
Throughout Mental Maths March, pupils embraced daily challenges that encouraged quick thinking, accuracy and confidence with number. Their excitement and commitment were clear to see, and it was wonderful to watch their mental agility improve day by day.
We also marked World Maths Day, joining millions of children around the globe in celebrating the fun and creativity of Mathematics. Pupils took part in interactive tasks, competitions and games that showcased just how enjoyable problem solving and number work can be.
Across the term, classes engaged in a wide range of problem-solving activities, using reasoning, teamwork and perseverance to tackle tasks of increasing challenge. We were particularly impressed by how confidently pupils explained their thinking and applied different strategies to reach solutions.
Overall, this has been a term full of progress, achievement and mathematical joy. Our pupils continue to demonstrate curiosity, resilience and a real love for Numeracy! Well done, boys and girls! Keep it up
