P5 Explore the Stone Age Through Cave Art!
As part of our WAU topic "Prove It", P5 have been diving into the fascinating world of the Stone Age—and this week, they brought history to life by replicating ancient cave paintings in art!
Using earthy tones, textured surfaces, and natural materials, the pupils created their own versions of prehistoric artwork, inspired by real cave paintings found in places like Lascaux and Altamira. They explored how early humans used symbols, animals, and handprints to tell stories and communicate, long before written language existed.
