Primary 4 Visit to the Guildhall and Derry Walls
Recently, Primary 4 pupils from St Eugene’s Primary School and The Model Primary School enjoyed an unforgettable day exploring some of Derry’s most iconic landmarks. We were treated to our very own private tour of the Guildhall and the Famous Derry Walls, immersing ourselves in the rich history that makes our city so special.
The children listened attentively as our guides shared fascinating stories about the Guildhall’s stunning architecture, its stained-glass windows, and its role in the city’s past. Walking along the historic Walls was a highlight, giving everyone a chance to see Derry from a whole new perspective and appreciate its unique heritage.
It was a wonderful day out, full of learning, laughter, and pride in our local history. A big thank you to everyone who helped make this experience possible!
